What an awesome children's journey to food and culture (Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2021)
The thing that one notices right away are the eye-popping colors of the illustration. Kids will love learning about each culture and the food not only by reading the words but also through the awesome graphics. I love how they include all the popular cultures of each continent, especially adding little vocabulary lessons for each people group--gracias, hao, hallo, etc. You and your kids will love this book!

A multilayered adventure! (Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2021)
This is a great food adventure story with terrific illustrations! I loved how each page invited me to pause and really LOOK. As you turn the pages and savor each spread, not only will you learn about foods from other countries, but you'll also learn a few words from other languages, and your eyes will feast on some famous architecture from around the world. Be sure to look for the labels! I sure hope Toby and Binky will take us on more adventures in the future! I'm buying several copies to share with the kids in our family. They will love it!

What a sweet, cheerful and bright book for children. One you will want to pick up over and over. I love the idea of highlighting different cultures with food we are somewhat familiar with here in America, and shining a light on different landmarks from across the globe. I feel like I learned something LOL.
